Objective: The South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) is a statutory public entity, an oversight body of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) Act, No. 67 of 2008. SAQA seeks to appoint a Human Resources Coordinator on a 12 month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Senior Manager: Human Resources, this position will provide administrative and coordination support to the Human Resources unit to ensure efficient operations and customer service.

Requirements are:
Minimum Qualifications
- An appropriate, recognised qualification at NQF level 5, with preference for a qualification in Human Resources Management or equivalent.
- A relevant NQF level 6 qualification will be an advantage.
Minimum Experience
- Two yearsā relevant work experience in Human Resources.

- Microsoft office proficiency (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Key performance areas:
Summary of duties
- Provide general administrative support in all areas of HR.
- Track documentation.
- Monitor submission deadlines for internal and external reports.
- Maintain HR records.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings.
- Keep record of meetings.
- Assist with coordination and execution of HR projects.
- Generate correspondence, minutes, presentations, etc.
- Maintain and keep stock of office stationery.
- Keep track of expenses against the HR budget.
- Keep track of documents and Action lists for all meetings.
- Register and track incoming and outgoing documents.
- Coordinate, track and follow up on documents that require action or approval.
- Perform other administrative functions, delegated from time to time.
SAQA will verify credit and criminal records as well as qualifications.
